The definition of change is the act of becoming different. Change…it’s one of the hardest things to do. The thought of not doing things the way you have done them for years is frightening! “What? You want me to do it like this?” Yes…life, people and things change.
Change is something we tend to fear and be anxious about because we don’t feel in control of what is about to happen in our life. As Christians we are blessed people. We serve a God who promises that He will never change. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8) I the Lord do not change. (Malachi 3:6).
Here are a few examples of change:
After a relationship or marriage and then divorce
Moving to a different state
Changing to a different department or job
A caterpillar that later becomes a butterfly
You’ve tried to change yourself, talking to friends and perhaps even gone to a doctor and nothing worked. In the famous words of American singer-song writer, Sam Cooke, “A Change is Gonna Come.” Why not try God for a change. Your life will never be the same.
May God bless you and I hope I’ve said something that will help you a tad bit.
