"FEAR" An unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause a pain or threat, the feeling of being afraid or scared. These feelings are often caused by anxiety or worry.

Spiritually, fear means incorrect perception (delusion) and seeing what isn't there. Let's say that on your way walking home you see a coiled rope on the sidewalk and your first thought was "it's a snake!" No...it was fear. Fear is of the devil, it's his way of trying to control you.

Isaiah 43:1 "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. ...everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made."

Deuteronomy 31:6 "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you He will never leave you nor forsake you."

There are many things people are fearful of, phobias are the most common

- Acrophobia: fear of heights

- Pteromerhanophobia: fear of flying

- Claustrophobia: fear of enclosed spaces

- Entomophobia: fear of insects

Fear may never go away for some people. It is always present and while it usually presents itself in a similar manner, sometimes it can sneak up on you unexpectedly. Just remember, if we turn our fears over to God we know that He will give us peace.

May God bless you and I hope I've said something that will help you a tad bit.
