You know, there is no right or wrong way to pray, having said that, there is also no excuse for you not to pray. If you are speaking to God, it is impossible to pray wrong. When praying show respect by humbling yourself. I’ve heard people say “I can’t talk to someone who I can’t see” well, speak to Him as if He is sitting right next to you. I was taught I can pray anytime and anywhere. My grandmother would say “get down on knees put your head down and just start talking” if you get where you can’t get on your knees, just wave your hand along with your thoughts and moans. He will hear you. You can’t pray too much! Be specific and sincere when you pray, ask God for EXACTLY what you need and want. Even though God knows what you need and want, He wants you to ask Him for it.

Simple examples of prayers;

1. If you want new employment, and you want to be the doctor in the office, pray to become a doctor instead of a nurse.

2. If your health is failing, and you want to be healed, pray to God to heal that/those illnesses. Be specific.

3. If you need financial assistance (which we all do) pray for guidance along the way.

Sometimes we may wonder why we don’t see more answers to our prayers. There are unknown reasons for that.

Matthew 7: 7-8 reads: ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye. shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh. findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

God promises to reward you when you come to Him privately in prayer. You must believe He will give you everything you ask for in His time not ours. You can be certain that He will hear your requests and answer in the way that is best for you.

I pray that if you’re not someone who prays, this will encourage you to make this your year to start.

God Bless You! I hope I’ve said something that will help you a tad bit.
